Daniel A. Johnson
Founder | Chief Executive Officer
Daniel A. Johnson’s early involvement in technology and 3D animation for film and television help set the foundation for the industry as we know it today. With a masters in computer graphics animation from the New York Institute of Technology in the mid 80’s, Daniel was scouted to work for Digital Effects Inc., one of the first CGI special effects companies in America, working on projects for Disney and other film studios.
Some of his credits include The Navigator and Tron, and he has over 40 commercials to his credit during that period. Since 1984, he has worked on projects with such companies as The Mill, AT&T, Time Warner, Disney, Manhattan Advanced Digital, Data Motion Arts and Image Group, to name a few. He has directed and produced many computer graphic commercials and interactive projects for companies and brands such as People Choice Awards”, Rolex, Pizza Hut, CUC International, Vtek Toys, P&G, Revlon, Estee Lauder and CNN News. After this Daniel spent five years in Europe as a media and technology consultant for Pixibox France and Thompson Digital’s military software group.
As interactive technologies (web 1.0) were developing, Daniel was working on the cutting edge Time Warner interactive trials in the 1990s. Daniel was one of the first individuals to deploy VOD (video on demand) over IP and followed that concept through to the founding of VODUSA where he functioned as the V.P. of Business Development and as an equity partner. After this period, Daniel consulted for many high profile advertising agencies and production companies in New York City, setting up media strategies, developing software applications and developing business plans for venture funds. Today Daniel is Founder | CEO at a digital interactive agency called 59 Souls Inc., located in New York City. Their focus is on complex, high profile, customized projects. His extensive background allows him to bridge the gaps between technologies and the multidisciplinary skill sets that are required to execute highly complex projects.
Consulting Chief Operating Officer
Ivan Sanford is a seasoned digital project manager/producer and UI designer with 20+ years of production experience supervising and designing eCommerce sites, mobile sites, commercial DVDs, VOD applications, touchscreen kiosks and digital animations. Offering a unique mix of creative talent, analytical problem-solving skill and organizational ability.
After gaining a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, Ivan created hundreds of illustrations for clients which included Viking-Penguin, McGraw-Hill, Associated Press, Merck and Pfizer. In the latter half of the 90s Ivan transitioned to computer graphics and animation. Working at post-production and DVD houses in New York, he created motion graphics work seen on CBS, PBS, Discover and A&E, in addition to completing animation work for Chase, Mobil, BMW Motorcycles, Sun America and others. Ivan also designed and authored commercial DVDs.
For the past 20+ years Ivan has worked in the interactive field, producing and designing eCommerce sites, mobile sites, VOD projects, DVDs and touchscreen kiosk projects for People’s Choice Awards, Estee Lauder International, Kenneth Jay Lane, Paulson and Co. and many others. As Executive Producer, he managed DVD production and supervised VOD trial installations. As Senior Digital Project Manager, he has supervised numerous website development projects, in addition to personally designing and coding websites.
Chief Technology Officer
George Joseph is a business technology strategist with over 12 years of experience working in Digital Transformation Strategy, IT Talent Shared Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Vendor Selection and Technology Sales & Marketing. He has previously worked with technology consulting companies and start-ups serving clients including KPMG, Citigroup, Fidelity, Optum – United Health Group, ADP, EA Sports.
He served as the Country Manager – Americas for Bridge Global a Dutch custom software solutions provider. His prior engagements includes a New Jersey based fin-tech start-up Paycommerce – a disruptor in the cross-border payments solutions space.
As a consultant, he has proposed a number of digital transformation road-maps for brick and mortar clients, and has provided feasibility studies and strategies for IT outsourcing for start-ups and, SMEs alike. Mr. Joseph has a MBA (PGDM) in Technology Management from Staffordshire University, UK and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application.
Mr. Joseph is responsible for technology partnership with Samsung for Bridge Global to offer Knox – Samsung’s defense-grade security platform for its mobile devices. Samsung Knox has been approved by 29 governments worldwide

Al, is an energy executive with 30+ years of experience in oil & gas, chemicals, renewable energy, LNG, and power generation. He has managed front end design, detailed engineering and construction and has in-depth experience in developing and successfully implementing large capital projects.
His experience allows him to assist clients on matters of strategy and execution related to operations, projects & new technology, and to perform owner’s engineering, due diligence, creditor advisory, technical advisory, and other services related to project financing and implementation.
He has been an active participant in the proceedings of organizations such as the Construction Industry Institute (CII) and American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), among others. Mr. Rettenmaier has participated in industry best-practices implementation including Independent Project Analysis (IPA), Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC), Chevron Project Development and Execution Process (CPDEP), Shell Engineering Guides and General Standards (EGGS).
Dr. Leslie Barrett

Dr. Barrett has worked in the field of Computational Linguistics for over 9 years. She has been involved in product development in the areas of Machine Translation, Speech Synthesis, Automated Question-Answering and Information Extraction. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Smith College and Ph.D. from New York University. She serves on the advisory boards of Transclick, Inc., a maker of machine translation products, and Montclair State University’s Dept. of Linguistics. Dr. Barrett has extensive experience as a consultant for large technology companies and government organizations including Microsoft, General Dynamics and U.S. Army Research Lab.
Jason serves as a partner in the EQx Fund, specializing in deal flow. He has experience in the venture arm of a private family office and as a member for the Boston Harbor Angels. Jason founded a startup advisory firm, Prepare 4 VC, to coach entrepreneurs through the fundraising process and create more powerful pitches. He is also a co-founder of commercial real estate and early stage investment firm Equity Venture Partners. He has experience in the block chain space, running a crypto research group and organizing several Boston Block chain Meetup events.

He is a world-renowned expert in media technologies and IT systems covering the areas of video compression, media asset management, media distribution, media archives and video analytics.
Dr. Yogeshwar has managed the Technology Alliance and Solutions portfolio for Hitachi Vantara (formerly Hitachi Data Systems). He was responsible for their media vision and direction that transformed Hitachi from a traditional Enterprise Storage and IT Platform Company to a mobility, cloud and big data analytics company.
Jay guided the company from its inception to a USD130 million M&E business as part of a CME industrial vertical. Supporting a team’s revenue target of $400M for the CME space, he acquired and nurtured large media brand sales including Disney, Fox, Globosat, Televisa, Time Warner, etc., while creating marquee partnerships and solutions in Broadcast and Telco markets with Dalet, Adobe, VizRT, Imagine Communications, Seachange, Broadpeak and Ericsson.
Jay’s business development and planning skills include product conception, proof of concept, testing with partners, pre-launch for a major Content Distribution offering with applications in Media Portals, CDN’s, and Telco/Cable VOD providers.
Awards and credits include a Technical Emmy for DVD Technology, and ten US patents granted in media technologies.
